College & University Workshops

We provide workshops, curriculum, and ongoing support for students, families, and educators to build financial resilience. Our workshops create spaces for intergenerational conversations where students, parents, and educators develop an understanding of their personal relationship with money, new ways of thinking and talking about money, and the skills to take action and advocate for ourselves and others.

Your finances are mysterious, personal, and emotional. We don’t talk about them so when bad things happen we blame ourselves and feel alone. When that happens, we tend to hide from our finances and allow other people to control how we spend and save. Let’s break that cycle by understanding our habits so we can get what we want and what we need.

College is a magical place where you have a safe space to learn all about your major, but you’d better have all that life stuff figured out already, especially your finances. Your budget will be bigger than ever before, and so will your responsibilities. How will you build new habits to support your expanding world?

The path to making money is rarely as linear as we’ve been taught, and your dream job may not even exist yet. Entrepreneurship is an effective way to earn today while you learn for tomorrow. How can you use the skills you already have to start making money right now?

Your roof, your rules. Unless you have a roommate. Then there’s the lease, new bills, and a fridge that needs to be filled. This doesn’t mean you have to give up on living your way. Find your deal breakers and dealmakers to live within your budget and your values.

A good job is not guaranteed, and neither is a sustainable career. 48% of new hires have a previous relationship with the employer. Don’t worry about standing out from the crowd, advocate for yourself to build the situation and salary that fits you best. Prepare for the job you need now while learning what it takes to turn dreams into goals.
